Join us on May 11, 2024 as we officially open for the season. We will be partnering with the Maumee Memorabilia Museum as they unveil their new name, The Jack Hiles Maumee Memorabilia Museum, in honor of Maumee Legend, Jack Hiles.
Our newest exhibit, Manners, Morals, & Etiquette in Mid-Century Maumee will be opening in May 2024!
Manners, Morals, & Etiquette in Mid-Century Maumee" is a captivating historical exhibit that delves into the social customs and norms prevalent in Maumee during the mid-20th century. Through a combination of artifacts, photographs, and interactive displays, visitors are transported back in time to explore the intricacies of daily life, social interactions, and the expectations of etiquette in this vibrant period. From the proper attire for various occasions to the nuances of table manners and social protocols, the exhibit provides a fascinating insight into the values and behaviors that shaped the community during this era. Visitors will gain a deeper understanding of the cultural landscape of mid-century Maumee and how it influenced the lives of its residents.
The Wolcott House is a symbol of Maumee's connection to the past and the centerpiece of our beautiful estate grounds.
The Federal/Classic Revival house, as well as surrounding buildings and grounds, are open for guided tours every Saturday at 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., May through December.
