Maumee Valley Historical Society

The Maumee Valley Historical Society preserves and celebrates the rich history of Ohio's Maumee Valley through educational programs, exhibits, and events, fostering community engagement and historical awareness. We collect, preserve, study, interpret, and communicate the region's history and culture.

The Wolcott House

The Wolcott House, a significant Maumee, Ohio landmark, symbolizes the community's historical connection. This historic residence serves as a museum and the centerpiece of preserved grounds, enriching our understanding of local heritage and appreciation for community narratives.

Wolcott Heritage Center

Each historic building at The Wolcott Heritage Center reflects the history of the Maumee Valley in the time period in which it was built and/or primarily used. The buildings and grounds are open for guided tours every Saturday at 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.,  May through December.
